Max’s Bakery
Began in 1997

when founder Scott Stanley opened Max’s Market and Bakery in Fresno, California. Working out of a 300-square-foot kitchen, everything was baked fresh each day, earning a loyal following and laying the foundation for what Max’s is today.

What started as a neighborhood bakery has grown into a wholesale foodservice partner serving restaurants, cafés, and operators across the country. Today, Scott works alongside his son Max to carry that vision forward — bringing together family values, artisan craftsmanship, and a modern approach to breadmaking.

 

Combining our decades of experience in the industry with our 75,000+ square-foot facility, state-of-the-art equipment, and expert bakers, we produce exceptional quality breads to the exact specifications of our customers. Through partnerships with the largest foodservice distributors in the country, our products are distributed throughout California and many other states. In addition, we proudly offer local delivery service in California’s Central Valley.

 

At Max’s, we see bread as both an art and a science. It’s heritage recipes, perfected techniques, and modern consistency working together in every piece. Behind each product is a team of bakers who love what they do and know how much details like crust, crumb, texture, and durability matter in a busy foodservice kitchen.
